With this in mind, our Employee Spotlight series is offering a behind-the-scenes look at the people who make our ATR family great. This month, Emily Morgan, Technical Recruiter, is taking us backstage to learn more about life at ATR.
1. Briefly describe your ATR journey.
I joined the ATR team in July 2018, after my graduation from the University of South Carolina. I began as a Talent Sourcer, and I am now a Technical Recruiter, focusing on engineering and manufacturing roles on the East Coast.
2. What do you love most about your job?
I took over the role of “Marketing Motivator” for the Charlotte office, and I’ve really enjoyed planning events for team building in our office! I love the people I work with, and we’ve grown a lot as a team during these events and outings
3. What is your favorite thing to do in Charlotte?
Since moving here after college, I’ve enjoyed a lot of what Charlotte has to offer! I love going to breweries and taking my dog, Roscoe, to the different parks around the city
4. What is your top piece of advice for clients, candidates, or those who are new to the staffing industry?
To our clients: Act fast! Good talent is hard to find and won’t be on the market for very long, so show your interest quickly!
5. Where would you most like to travel and why?
I would love to travel to Bora Bora and stay in one of the overwater bungalows!
6. What’s one thing about you that would surprise the rest of the ATR team?
It might surprise some people that I grew up on a farm in South Carolina with pet peacocks!
