In this spotlight, Dana Bohman, Senior Account Executive, is taking us backstage to learn more about life at ATR.
1. Briefly describe your ATR journey.
I started working with ATR nearly 6 years ago. It was a perfect match for me. I love how it’s not a huge corporation where I’m just a number. ATR is family owned, and I feel like I’m part of the family! I started out as an Account Manager for a major account, and I’m now a Senior Account Executive in more of a mentoring role.
2. What do you love most about your job?
I love my clients! I have built so many relationships over the years. It’s really rewarding to be able to place great candidates with wonderful leaders.
3. What is your favorite thing to do in Charlotte?
My favorite part of life in Charlotte is being outdoors. I also love going to breweries and taking my daughter to the park, and the Whitewater Center is so much fun!
4. What is your top piece of advice for clients, candidates, or those who are new to the staffing industry?
Clients: Taking the time to set up a call with us to discuss your position is extremely helpful. It gives us an opportunity to ask questions and find out things that are not listed on the job description, which helps us find the right person for your role.
Candidates: Be honest! Do not list things on your resume that you do not have experience with.
5. Where would you most like to travel and why?
Africa! It is a dream of mine to go to a safari. I love animals.
