Santa Clara, CA – ATR International, a leading staffing and consulting firm, has unveiled an employment program for veterans and active military spouses. The program is the culmination of years of working with discharged and retired members of the armed forces.

“Veterans and their families have made tremendous sacrifices for all of us in this country,” shared Andrea Brenholz, CEO & President. “By applying our employment expertise strategically, we’re able to give back to a deserving and qualified group with a strong work ethic.”

ATR’s Military Commitment has two components. The first is a focus on assisting veterans in reentering the workforce. Decades of staffing expertise allows ATR employees to coach veterans and provide career counseling while placing them with ATR clients or in internal positions. The second focus is working with spouses of members of the military to secure flexible working schedules that allow them to continue their careers.

To achieve these goals, ATR is partnering with outside organizations that currently provide services and support to veterans. ATR is also forming relationships with military bases near office locations to help ease the transition to the civilian workforce and overcome any barriers to employment.

“The launch of ATR’s Military Commitment is a meaningful initiative for all of us here,” continued Brenholz. “We’ve provided our services to many veterans over the years, but in 2020 we will do so with a greater intent and clearer focus.”
