HR Administrator
San Jose State University, B.S. in Business Administration – Concentration: Management

As an HR Administrator, I manage a wide range of HR functions, including overseeing onboarding processes, conducting orientations, verifying I-9 documentation, processing timecard entries, and coordinating background checks for multiple clients. I also handle employment verifications and manage unemployment claims, ensuring compliance and efficiency in all HR operations. What I love most about working at ATR is the friendly and supportive environment—the team is incredibly welcoming and encouraging, making it a great place to grow. My goal is to expand my HR expertise, grow into a management role, and continue building strong connections with ATR’s incredible team.

 
ADVICE FOR CANDIDATES:

Absorbing a lot of information at once can feel overwhelming, but the rewards are well worth it. Never hesitate to ask questions—curiosity is the key to growth and success.

 

ADVICE FOR HIRING MANAGERS:

My advice to hiring managers is to look beyond just experience when evaluating candidates. While experience is important, qualities like ambition, adaptability, and a strong desire to learn and grow are even more valuable in the long run.

 

HOBBIES AND INTERESTS:

Outside of work, I love spending time at the beach with my dog, exploring new coffee shops, and diving into a good book. I also enjoy grounding activities like Pilates and hot yoga. One of my goals is to earn a yoga and/or Pilates certification and pursue it as a side passion.

 

FAVORITE PLACE:

My favorite place is the beach—it’s where I feel the most at peace. I love the sound of the waves, the scent of the ocean, and the overall sense of calm it brings. Whether journaling or taking a nap in the sun, it’s my perfect escape.
