Hi, I’m Blair Richardson. My job at ATR consists of sourcing candidates for the IT team. I focus on a large variety of highly technical positions! What I like the most about working in the Staffing industry is the fact that each day is a new and different experience. The industry is people-centric and there is a constant challenge of finding just the right candidate – it’s like getting paid to work a puzzle!

ADVICE:

Advice for candidates: Exude authenticity and be yourself. Sometimes, it’s not about having the right tenure or experience on your resume – it can come down to the impression that you make with the hiring manager.

Advice for hiring managers: Remember a time in your career that you sought after a new position and extend to the candidate the same kindness and courtesy you would like to have been given yourself.

HOBBIES AND INTERESTS:

Outside of work, I am the captain of a co-ed Kickball team named “Swipe Right, Kick Left.” I won a free membership to the Charlotte Mint Museum three years ago and have renewed each year since. I’m an aspiring foodie and am always on the lookout for new restaurant recommendations! While I take what I do seriously, life is too short to take yourself seriously – and I certainly don’t!

FAVORITE PLACE:

Bald Head Island – growing up, I spent every summer there and always get an awesome sense of nostalgia when going back. As an adult, there aren’t enough weekends in the summer to get enough!
