My name is Michael Deasey. I’m currently a Technical Recruiter in the Minneapolis office, focusing on recruiting for IT Professionals, Software Engineers, Project Managers, and Creative/Marketing positions. Primarily, I search for qualified individuals for the variety of positions I recruit on.
ADVICE FOR CANDIDATES:
You are your own best advocate. Communicate clearly your strengths and capabilities, and don’t be afraid to communicate what you don’t know. Communication should be your greatest asset, and should be done early and often. It doesn’t matter what you know, if you can’t effectively communicate to someone else what you can do. Don’t allow others to fill in the blanks for you.
ADVICE FOR HIRING MANAGERS:
Looks are often deceiving, and people can bring more capabilities than what are listed on a resume. Candidates will often put in the same amount of effort that you will in finding someone. If hiring is not a priority for you, then your position won’t be a priority for candidates.
HOBBIES AND INTERESTS:
I enjoy alpine skiing, quiet lakeshores, and finding new restaurants.
